do you think i should be, jules? really proud? or do you think that i should be neither proud nor non-proud? maybe pride is not a relevant feeling here?
i actually was talking of people i know personally, not big deal people like, you know, dick cheney or alberto gonzales. so that’s a bit more squeamish-making, no? to feel such visceral repulsion of living and breathing human beings i occasionally interact with. what do you think, moral philosopher?
I am just making this up, but here goes. I think sometimes detesting people feels good. Schopenhauer or Nietzsche or Freud or someone would surely see it as a way of asserting oneself. Maybe a visceral feeling of revulsion is itself a form of pride. And I say yes to pride — even be proud of it! Why not? Especially if you manage not to actually do anything mean or rotten to the person.
Or maybe I’m just enjoying my inner bitch a lot lately. Maybe you should not listen to a word I say, especially if you want to be nice on the inside.
i would like to be on record as saying that i strongly disapprove of this confessional use of the mouse.
Why not? Why not be proud, that is?

i think i’m cool with being a bitch inside! just as long as i’m nice outside. see previous posts about the pony’s and my philosophy of lying…
okay, so you convinced me. my inner bitch is loved.
